Charlotte Durham, Bozeman Luxury Real Estate Broker

Q. What did you want to be when you were a kid?

A. I was never quite sure and it changed monthly as most kids! I have a Business degree with a focus in Marketing from Montana State University. I spent a year in London during college and worked for a PR company. I always loved houses and my dad is a builder. Along with my marketing background, I jumped into real estate after college in 2011.

Q. Something that would surprise others about you?

A. When I was born I lived in Zortman, a small mining town in Montana that most haven’t heard of. I grew up a 5th generation Montanan, a tom boy who loved animals, basketball, hunting, hiking and being on our ranch in the Missouri River breaks. My dad is from Malta, MT and my mom is from a ranch outside Big Sandy, MT.

Q. What’s your super power or hidden talent?

A. I don’t take no for an answer. Being a perfectionist and a lover of good service is my super power because giving my clients exactly what they want and more is something I am obsessed with! Being an “overdoer” for others is just in my nature.

Q. What made you decide to get into real estate?

A. Getting into real estate was only natural for me. I have a Business degree from Montana State with a focus in Marketing. (Check out some of her amazing marketing at charlottenco.com and on Insta @charlotte.andco). Real estate worked well with my marketing background and I always had a passion for design and helping people. Once I got into real estate, I realized it isn’t all just “pretty houses” all the time. My dad is a builder so I am very familiar with how properties are built and what goes into it. I grew up tying rebar and tarring concrete walls for him during the summers. The reason why I got into real estate is different than my passion for it now. I have fallen in love with my career even more as it has evolved and focused on giving to others.

Q. What is your favorite season?

A. Spring/Summer in Montana is my favorite! The Bozeman area turns bright green in May/June and is truly a thriving, vibrant oasis of color, animals and extended sunlight. I love to eat a great meal outdoors and soak in all the incredible views. It stays light out until almost 10PM, leaving endless time to enjoy all the area has to offer. I love golfing, boating on Flathead, fly fishing, hiking and riding!

Q. Favorite hiking trail, golf hole or ski run?

A. The Reserve at Moonlight Basin is an unforgettable experience, even if you aren’t golfing. The environment is truly what I consider the best of Montana. In the summer, it doesn’t get better!

Q. Favorite beverage?

A. Dry champagne or a spicy margarita!

Q. What are you most proud of?

A. Personally, I am most proud of my two babies, Camilla and Cruz and my husband, Casey. They are pure magic and the best thing I have ever done.

A. Professionally, I am most proud of the the amazing women I have alongside me on my team, Krissy Stewart and Rachael McMasters. Being #1 in Bozeman was something I have been working toward because it means we have kept our core value of focusing on giving to others top of mind. The work I have put in over the last 12 years is not for the faint hearted. It takes daily consistency, organization, processes and discipline to build and keep our train moving.

Q. What feature do you like best about your house or would you want in your dream home?

A. I love my views of the Bridgers from my current house. It never gets old and always seems to take my breath away. My dream property has acreage, mountain views, and my little farm of horses, goats, mini ponies and chickens!

Q. What is your favorite thing about your job?

A. My “why” and what fills me up is helping people and solving problems for them. Nothing feels better to me than when my clients are really happy! I love to deliver the ultimate real estate experience. The last couple years I have had the ability to give back to my community in working with Family Promise of Gallatin Valley and Big Sky Youth Empowerment. Working hard to give back to others is the honor of my career.
